Places to Visit
near Playa Flamenca

Here I will assemble some information about places to visit in the area.
At the moment, this is mostly about places which are best reached by car, but I will be looking into the public transport system.
I know that you can get the bus from the Playa Flamenca Town Hall to Cartagena and to Alicante via Torrevieja, but have no more information than the timetable just now.

First place to visit - Torrevieja.
You can walk to Torrevieja from Playa Flamenca – I know of two couples who have done just that.
However, it is ten minutes away by car just up the N332.
This is an old town with loads of history – that will be another story, another time.
Just now, I have photos of the new Marina Salinas, the walkway and the Promenade and Beach front.

Next place to be included here is Villamartin Plaza.

Next place in this list is the town of Orihuela.

Just added the next place which is Torre de la Horadada.
