Here is a selection of theme parks in the area.
I am giving you the links because they can say so much more than I can about each place.
I hope you think this is a sensible approach.

Aquopolis Water Park in Torrevieja.
This link is the site for the Aquopolis Water Park itself. It is in Spanish but you can get plenty from it.

These are sister sites in Spanish, I think there will be an English version at some time.
